10 things you need to know on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday. 

 

1) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) said that the number of free float shares for all companies have been revised for the 1st quarter 2017 starting from Sunday April2, 2017.

 

2) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) has included Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. and AlJazira Mawten REIT Fund to Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), Media and REITs Industry Group indices. The bourse also excluded Saudi Cable Co. from TASI and Capital Goods Industry Group Index.

 

3) Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Development Co. said it has updated the Islamic Sukuk Program and will start on Sunday April 2, meetings with international investors for the issuance of Sukuk under the program.

 

4) Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) said that its project Saudi Chevron Phillips (SCP) began its planned periodic maintenance shutdown from April 1, and will extend for 35 days.

 

5) Jabal Omar Development Co. on Friday began operating Jabal Omar Hilton Hotel.

 

6) Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co.’s general assembly approved 20 percent cash dividend to be issued at SAR 2 per share.

 

7) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) will impose new fees on listed companies as of April 1, on a proportional basis for the remaining nine months of 2017, unnamed sources close to the matter told Argaam.

 

8) Moody's Investors Service affirmed on Friday Saudi Arabia's A1 rating and stable outlook, which is supported by a strong but weakening fiscal position, driven by the kingdom's substantial hydrocarbon reserves at low production costs, and high levels of external liquidity.

 

9) Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce and Investment (MOCI) has issued five cement export licenses and one for steel exports, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported on Saturday.

 

10) Oil prices closed higher last week. Brent crude was up 0.8 percent at $53.53/bbl and WTI crude rose 0.5 percent to $50.6/bbl.
