BATIC to maintain Mubarrad brand name for land transport ops

Saudi Transport and Investment Co. (Mubarrad), which has rebranded to BATIC Investment and Logistics, will maintain the Mubarrad brand name for its land transport operations, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse (Tadawul).

 

Mubarrad will operate as an independent affiliate in 2017, and will help boost BATIC’s logistics business portfolio.

 

The company’s rebranding was part of its new strategy, focusing on logistics, security and technological services in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 economic diversification plan.
