Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) resumed operations on Tuesday at its subsidiary International Diol Company (IDC) following a technical glitch, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
Based on the actual period of reduced production levels, the financial impact from the temporary halt – estimated at SAR 6 million – is expected to show in Q2 2017.
On March 23, the petrochemical producer said a technical malfunction at its 53.91 percent-owned plant had hit production capacity.
