Saudi banks’ Treasury bond holdings fall in March 2017

Saudi banks’ investments in Treasury bonds declined by SAR 202 million in March 2017, to SAR 178.7 billion, according to monthly data from the Saudi Arabian Monteray Authority’s (SAMA).

 

Meanwhile, assets held by the kingdom’s central bank fell SAR 28.8 billion in March, marking its lowest in more than five years.
