Saudi Printing names Zaatari as CEO, approves contracts

Saudi Printing and Packaging Co.’s (SPPC) board of directors on Tuesday appointed Ghassan Zaatari as the new CEO starting July 1, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Wednesday.

 

Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Duaelij, the former chief executive officer and managing director, had resigned for personal reasons, and the board accepted his resignation effective June 30. However, he will stay as a member on the board.

 

Zaatari was the operations director since the beginning on this year.

 

Meanwhile, the company’s extraordinary general assembly approved appointing Baker Tilly as the external auditor for 2017, a separate statement said.

 

Shareholders also approved next year’s deals with Saudi Research and Marketing Group. Last year’s contracts amounted to SAR 201,625.

 

They also renewed contracts with Saudi Research and Marketing Group’s subsidiaries: Saudi Research & Publishing Company, Saudi Specialized Publishing Company, Al-khaleejiah Advertising & Public Relations, Saudi Distribution Company, and the Emirates Printing, Publishing, and Distribution Company. The total value of last year’s deals with these companies was over SAR 60 million.
