UAE crude output dips to 208 mln barrels in Q1 2017

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) produced 208 million barrels of crude oil during the first quarter of 2017, compared with 211.73 million barrels in the same period last year, state news agency WAM reported, citing UAE Central Bank statistics.

 

According to the bank’s quarterly review of economic performance indexes, the country's barrel per day production reached 2.9 million during the first quarter of the year.

 

The average daily production during in 2016 was 3.089 million barrels, with the UAE's total oil production last year coming in at 889.6 million barrels.

 

The crude price during the Q1 2017 ranged between $52.6 and $56.2 against $44.00 and $45.3 in 2016.
