Saudi Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) has received 2,162 self-building requests through its branches. Requests have been studied by the fund and are being transferred to banks to complete financing process, Saudi Press Agency reported citing said Ayham bin Mohammed Al Yousef, REDF supervisor and advisor general.
The fund now acts as a link between citizens and financing banks to facilitate the process, Al Yousef added.
He added that 7,469 beneficiaries have applied to obtain subsidized housing loans, of which 2,686 requests were approved.
Next month, new service centers for subsidized housing loan beneficiaries will be added in remaining Kingdom cities after launching Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah’s centers.
