Saudization of motor insurance claims, customer services effective July 2

15/06/2017 Argaam

Saudization of motor insurance claims and customer service departments in insurance companies and service providers will come into effect on July 2, 2017, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) said in a statement.

The Saudization drive will be applied to other technical and leading jobs later on, the central bank added.

In February, the insurance market regulator ordered insurers and insurance service providers to set Saudization rates at 100 percent in motor insurance claims departments, including claim-receiving branches, loss adjusters, and customer complaints.
