Al Othaim opens its 24th store in Egypt

Saudi-listed supermarket chain Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. opened its 24th store in Egypt on Thursday, it said in a statement.

 

The new branch is located in Matariyah neighborhood in Cairo, on a total area of 700 square meters.

 

This opening comes as part of Al Othaim plans to expand its foothold in Egypt, as it aims to open more branches outside the Kingdom and boost its investments in foodstuffs and consumer staples, the statement added.
