Saudi Arabia’s monthly expatriate levy on family members and dependents will come into force on July 1, Reuters reported, citing the kingdom’s finance minister, Mohammed Al-Jadaan.
This comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s plans to rebalance revenues and expenses by 2020, he said.
The fee is expected to start at around SAR 100 to gradually increase to SAR 400 by 2020.
