Saudia’s international passengers increase by 14% in Q1

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) reported a 14 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth in the first quarter of this year in the number of passengers on its international flights, spokesperson Abdulrahman Al-Tayeb said in a statement on Monday.

This rise is due to the successful implementation of Saudi Vision 2020, which aims to enhance Saudia’s services and develop its fleet, the statement said.

The Kingdom’s flag carrier added six new international destinations in less than 13 months, in addition to 1.1 million seats to its domestic flights in H1.
