Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has signed agreements with companies to build Al-Fursan international and domestic lounges, as well as the second phase of the operations building at the new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, the carrier said in a statement on Sunday.
The company aims to finish work on both projects by the time it opens the new airport.
The 58,500 square-meter operations building contains operating, technical programs, administrative, and commercial areas.
Al-Fursan international lounge has the capacity to serve 510 travelers at the same time, and it comprises areas for services, relaxing, media, kids, and entertainment, in addition to a business center, a gaming room and a place of worship.
