Saudi policeman killed, six wounded in terror attack in Qatif

One Saudi policeman was killed and six others wounded in a terrorist attack on Sunday in Al Qatif, Eastern Province, according to a statement by the Kingdom’s interior ministry carried on the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

 

The patrol was attacked with an exploding projectile in the Al Awamiya town, the ministry said, adding that authorities have begun investigating the incident.

 

The six wounded were rushed to the hospital and are now in stable condition, the statement added.
