The Saudi Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) board has approved a request from Mulkia Investment to offer, register and list units of Mulkia-Gulf Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Fund on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
Details about the fund will be available on the websites of CMA and the fund manager, the market regulator said in a statement.
The new funds will allow investors to access the local real estate market through purchasing existing, developed property.
Since November 2016, four other REITs have been listed on Tadawul, namely Riyad REIT, Aljazira Mawten REIT,Jadwa REIT Al-Haramain Fund, and Taleem REIT.
The CMA also approved in June Osool & Bakheet Investment Co.’s request to list units of the AlMa'athar REIT and Musharaka Capital's request to list units of Musharaka REIT Fund.
