Saudi Arabia’s housing ministry is expected to issue white land tax invoices for registered landowners in Makkah in October, Mohammed Almudaiheem, a supervisor for the white land tax scheme at the ministry, told CNBC Arabia.
The ministry is currently sorting the undeveloped lands, he added. More than 15 million square meters of taxable white land has been registered in Makkah.
Registration of white lands in Makkah closed in July, Argaam reported.
