Saudization will be implemented in more than 12 sectors, including tourism and hospitality, in Makkah, the director general of social affairs in the region Abdullah Al-Tawi said.
The program will also focus on the training and employment of Saudi women, he added, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Al-Tawi was on a visit to the new nationalization department at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) which is dedicated to providing job opportunities for Saudi youth as part of Vision 2030.
Currently, the MCCI provides training to 5,000 Saudi youth in different sectors annually, secretary general Ibrahim Al-Bardisi said during the event.
