Saudi general reserves fall by SAR 10 bln in July

Saudi Arabia’s general reserves dropped by SAR 9.5 billion month-on-month to SAR 617.4 billion in July 2017, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

The July reserves hit their lowest level in more than eight years, when they fell to SAR 333.4 billion.

 

Accordingly, reserve drawdowns stood at nearly SAR 24.06 billion for the period from January to July 2017.
