Expat remittances from Saudi Arabia up 10% in July 2017

Remittance outflows from expatriates in Saudi Arabia rose 10 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 11.3 billion in July 2017, data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

On a month-to-month basis, expat remittances grew 8 percent increase in July.

 

The Kingdom has said it’s not planning to impose a new tax on expat remittances.
