Fuel prices in the United Arab Emirates are set to rise by at least 6 percent in September, according to the ministry of energy.
Starting September 1, Super 98 will cost AED 2.01 per liter (up 6 percent from AED 1.89), Special 95 will cost AED 1.9 (up 7 percent from AED 1.78) and E Plus will cost AED 1.83 (up 7 percent from AED 1.71).
Diesel price has been increased to AED 2 per liter in September from AED 1.88 in August.
Fuel prices in the UAE are set every month by a committee led by the ministry of energy, and are linked to global crude prices.
