Saudi Arabia and Russia have discussed extending OPEC and Non-OPEC members’ agreement to cut crude oil output but no decision was made, the TASS news agency quoted Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak as saying on Tuesday.
The Interfax news agency also quoted Novak as saying extending the agreement after first quarter 2018 was under study as a possible choice.
In May, the cartel and other oil producers, including Russia, decided to extend their output cut agreement by another nine months, starting July 1, Argaam reported.
