Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, Public Investment Fund (PIF), will hold the Future Investment Initiative (FII) next month in Riyadh to explore new trends, opportunities, challenges and emerging industries that will shape the world economy.
Speakers at the event will include economist Mohamed El-Erian, Emaar Properties’ Mohamed Alabbar and SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son among others.
This inaugural FII, set to take place Oct. 24 -26, will be held under the leadership of Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammad bin Salman, who is also the chairman of PIF.
The event is designed around three key pillars—shifting centers of power, the new investment paradigm and innovation for a better world.
PIF is looking to develop a portfolio of high quality domestic and international investments, diversified across sectors, geographies and asset classes.
