Public Warehousing Co. will develop a logistics hub at Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport (KFIA), slated for completion by the fourth quarter of 2020, it said in a statement.

The project will be developed in three phases, the company said, adding that the first phase is set to start in Q2 2018.

Public Warehousing was allocated the area for the project in KFIA by Dammam Airports Company (DACO), as part of a 35-year build–operate–transfer (BOT) agreement to lease, establish, and operate the KFIA logistics hub.

The logistics facility, which will cover an area of 500,000 square meters, will comprise warehouses as well as a central control zone.
