Sadara Basic Services Co’s board of directors has appointed Faisal Al-Faqeer as the new chief executive officer, effective Oct. 1, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Monday.
The new CEO will replace Ziad Al-Labban, who resigned on Sept. 30 to take a new position at Saudi Aramco.
Al-Faqeer previously served at Aramco, leading its operations department at Ras Tanoura Refinery.
He holds a PhD in material science and engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
