US President Donald Trump said on his Twitter account that he has great confidence in King Salman and Crown Prince, adding that “they know exactly what they are doing” in the latest crackdown on princes and former government officials.

His tweets came after Saudi Arabia arrested 11 princes and more than 30 other officials earlier this week, as part of a corruption purge led by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
