Riyadh-based Middle East Propulsion Co. (MEPC) and GE Aviation, a subsidiary of General Electric, have signed an agreement to establish a depot-level maintenance facility for GE T700 military turboshaft engines in the Kingdom, according to a company statement on Monday.

MEPC will be the Kingdom’s first depot-level supplier of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in support of T700 engines.

Established in 1992 as a joint venture, MEPC provides military engine depot-level maintenance for Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft.
