Al Othaim opens its 33rd store in Egypt

Saudi-listed supermarket chain Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. has opened its 33rd store in Egypt, it said in a statement on Saturday.

 

The 375 square-meter branch is located in Nasr City in Cairo.

 

Al Othaim is looking to expand its foothold outside the Kingdom, with plans to open more branches in Egypt and boost its investments in foodstuffs and consumer staples.

 

The company has opened 19 branches so far in Egypt this year.
