Crown Prince and Saudi defense minister Mohammed bin Salman is currently leading the TIME magazine’s “Person of the Year” poll for 2017.
Prince Mohammed is set to beat US President Donald Trump, Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and around 30 other high-profile figures.
Voting on the reader’s choice poll ends on Dec. 3, and results will be revealed on Dec. 6. The final decision is up to the editors of the magazine, but votes usually have influence over their decision.
The person chosen is considered the most influential figure in news over the past year.
Trump won the title last year.
