Saudi Arabia is taking the lead in conducting new research on carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) in order to tackle carbon emissions, the Kingdom’s energy minister Khalid Al-Falih said.
Saudi energy firms have developed and promoted research and innovation in the CCUS field, he added, speaking during the Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum (CSLF) held in Abu Dhabi.
