The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) signed today in Riyadh a contract with a consortium comprising the International Water Distribution Co. Ltd. (Tawzea) and Portugal’s Aquapor to manage and improve water services in the second and third industrial cities in Jeddah, Modon said in a statement.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Under the five-year contract, which is renewable for up to 25 years, the consortium will meet the water needs of the two cities.
This deal comes as part of Modon’s strategy to develop and improve the performance of its industrial cities, said managing director Khalid Al-Salem.
