Malath shareholders to appoint new audit committee member December 27

Malath Cooperative Insurance & Reinsurance Co. shareholders will approve appointing Saleh Abdulrahman to serve as an independent member in the audit committee until April 5. 2019, the insurer said in a statement to Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

The vote will take place during the company’s general meeting slated for Dec. 27, 2017.

Shareholders will also vote on updating the company’s corporate governance regulations, including regulations for the audit committee, remuneration committee, executive committee, investment committee, as well as sub committees.
