Saudi Arabia’s finance ministry has issued SAR 4.78 billion ($1.27 bln) in domestic sukuk by reopening its monthly sale– originally launched in October– for the second time.
Applications for the offer amounted to SAR 10.325 billion, the ministry said in a statement.
The sukuk issue was divided into three tranches: the first one valued at SAR 2.4 billion, maturing in 2022; the second tranche worth SAR 1.8 billion, maturing in 2024; and the third tranche set at SAR 575 million, maturing in 2027.
Last month, the ministry sold SAR 6.68 billion of sukuk in the first re-opening of the issue. In October, the ministry sold SAR 10 billion from its fourth domestic sukuk issue.
