Al Ahsa shareholders reject update of board remuneration policy

Al Ahsa Development Co.'s shareholders rejected a proposal on updating the remuneration policy for the board of directors and the executive management, the company said in a bourse statement on Tuesday.

The general assembly also rejected the updated policies for board membership along with other updated regulations for the audit, nomination and remuneration committees.

The company's corporate governance system was also disapproved, the statement added.
