Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. on Wednesday resumed operations at all plants, suspended for scheduled maintenance, the company said in a bourse statement.

The mechanical works for Saudi Kayan’s debottlenecking project to increase ethylene and ethylene oxide output by at least 93,000 tons and 61,000 tons annually, respectively were also finalized.

The company had earlier said it will shut down some production units starting Nov. 11 to begin its debottlenecking project and perform planned maintenance, Argaam reported.

The shutdown financial impact was estimated at SAR 425 million and was expected to show on Q4 results.
