Saudi labor ministry denies imposing tax on salaries

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Labor and Social Development has denied reports of imposing a 10 percent tax on residents’ salaries exceeding SAR 3,000, Okaz newspaper reported, citing ministry spokesman Khalid Aba Al-Khail.

 

Social media platforms had recently been posting a document titled New Labor Regulations that includes the mentioned tax.
