Expats married to Saudi women not allowed to jobs restricted for nationals

Saudi Arabia’s ministry of labor and social development will not allow foreigners married to Saudi women to work in the job opportunities restricted for nationals, the ministry spokesman, Khalid Aba Al-Khail, said.

 

The ministry has issued a decree allowing the mothers, sons and daughters of Saudi nationals to take Nitaqat jobs that are exclusive for Saudi nationals.

 

Nitaqat, however, has another set of jobs that are open for non-Saudi husbands, he added.
