Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has called on the public to share their opinions by Feb. 1 on amending the fees for renewing membership at the Chambers of Commerce.
Under the amendment, fees will be set based on the number of workers in each company as well as its capital, instead of the firm’s activity.
Membership in the chambers of commerce will be free-of-charge for the first year under the new system, after which the new fees will be applied.
