Saudi Arabia is looking to maintain its crude oil exports at nearly 7 million barrels per day (mbd) in Q1 2018 despite planned maintenance of refineries, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed industry sources.
The move comes, as the world’s largest oil producer is determined to end a supply glut and shore up prices.
Saudi Arabia aims to maintain its output at around 9.8 mbd for the period from January to March, the sources added.
