25/01/2018 Argaam

Saudi Aramco awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract to McDermott International Inc. to install 13 jackets in oil fields across Saudi Arabia, the US-listed company announced.

Under the contract, the company will provide installations to Zuluf, Marjan, Berri and Abu Safah oilfields.

Contract value was not disclosed, but McDermott defined it as a “large” contract (likely to be between $50 million and $250 million).

Since 2001, McDermott has installed over 121 jackets for Saudi Aramco.

New York-listed McDermott provides engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) services for upstream field developments worldwide.

It delivers fixed and floating production facilities, pipelines and subsea systems for offshore and subsea oil and gas projects.
