Saudi Arabia is aiming for 97 percent mobile broadband coverage by 2020, Al Hayat newspaper has reported, citing Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
The Kingdom has a current internet coverage rate of 90 percent, Alswaha said, adding that efforts to deploy wireless broadband services in rural areas are proceeding as planned.
