Prince Alwaleed says still owns Kingdom Holding

Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has said he retains the ownership of flagship investment firm, Kingdom Holding, and also of stakes that he holds in other companies through the firm.

 

“Yes, Kingdom Holding will remain under my ownership, the same ownership,” Prince Alwaleed told Reuters in an interview at Riyadh’s Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

 

“If I retain my ownership in Kingdom Holding, then obviously all the stakes will be retained because they are owned by Kingdom Holding.”

 

Prince Alwaleed was released from detention on Saturday, more than two months after he was taken into custody in a sweeping crackdown on corruption.
