SIIG to shutdown Jubail JVs for maintenance work

Saudi Industrial Investment Group’s (SIIG) on Wednesday said its two joint venture plants in Jubail Industrial City would be shut for planned periodic maintenance starting February, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Jubail Chevron Phillips (JCP) will be closed for maintenance work for 51 days starting Feb.1 2018, while Saudi Chevron Phillips (SCP) will be shut for 33 days starting Feb.5. The maintenance works will include catalyst replacement.

 

The financial impact of the shutdown will be reflected in Q1 2018 results.

 

SIIG owns 50 percent stake each in SCP and JCP, the statement added.
