STC to issue bills according to Gregorian calendar

Saudi Telecom (STC) will start issuing invoices according to the Gregorian calendar as of March 1 for mobile phones and June 1 for landlines, the company said on its official Twitter account.

 

Any difference in billing resulting from the switch will be calculated from Jan. 1 until the completion of the process, the firm said.

 

Last month, King Salman directed the state to unify disbursal of public employees' salaries from the 27th of every Gregorian month and issue utility bills one week after salary disbursement, Argaam previously reported.
