Saudi Aramco may approve new contractors for long-term projects

11/02/2018 Argaam

Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco), the world’s largest crude exporter, is mulling the possibility of approving new local and foreign contracting firms for its long-term projects, MEED has reported.

The state-owned giant had announced intent to update its list of approved contractors for long-term projects, and said it approved new companies in Q4 2017.

“Approving a new contractor will hinge upon past experience on regional offshore projects among other things,” MEED reported.
