Saudi Arabia and India are in early talks for joint operation of renewable energy projects overseas, Reuters reported, citing Indian power minister R K Singh.
In October 2017, Singh said that India’s power needs would double over the next seven years, and the country plans to generate 40 percent of its energy needs from renewable sources by 2030.
The Indian government aims to develop policies to attract countries to invest in the Asian country’s renewable energy sector.
