Saudia cuts economy fare by 24%, says official

Saudi Arabian Airlines’ (Saudia) has reduced economy fare for domestic flights by 24 percent as part of its new price packages, Al-Eqtisadiah reported, citing Saudia spokesman Abdulrahman Al-Tayeb.

Fare packages for the economy class tickets don’t allow amendments or refunds for missed flights, Al-Tayeb said, adding that the new price scheme is only available through the airline’s website or mobile application.

Saudia introduced last week customizable fare packages for domestic flights, available as of Feb. 20.
