ADIB Securities, the brokerage subsidiary of UAE-based Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), has started allowing its GCC nationality clients to trade on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
The new offering will enable GCC investors, who currently hold a trading account with ADIB Securities, to trade on Tadawul, the company said in a statement.
Tadawul is the 26th largest stock market among 68 members of the World Federation of Exchanges and the 10th largest stock market amongst emerging market peers, with a market capitalization of $479 billion. The bourse comprises 48 percent of total GCC market capitalization and 74 percent of value traded, the statement added.
