Advanced Petrochemical Co. has restarted operations at its propylene and polypropylene plants following successful completion of routine and preventive maintenance works, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Thursday.
The two plants, which were closed for maintenance in late February, are expected to reach their full operational capacity in the next eight to 10 days, it added.
Advanced Petrochemical said it expects a positive impact of the periodic maintenance activity on both plants’ reliability and efficiency in the coming months.
Financial impact of the shutdown, depending on the prevailing prices of polypropylene and feedstock, will be reflected on Q1 2018 earnings.
