Al Jouf Cement has teamed up with Saudi-based Argaam Investment Co. to launch an investor relations (IR) application on IOS and Android smartphones.
The company’s IR page was updated, placing Al Jouf as the first company deploying this technology among local peers, in a move to update shareholders about its performance and operations.
“The move comes as part of the company’s efforts to enhance transparency and ease shareholder access to its data using state-of-the-art technology,” Al Jouf Cement’s chairman, Mohammed Al Ateya.
“Given the importance of transparency and governance, Al Jouf Cement took this move to become the first firm in the sector that rolls out such high tech in coordination with Argaam Investment,” he added.
Shareholders will be able to access Al Jouf’s performance analysis and latest financial data, stock charts, annual reports and future projects, the company’s general manager, Jamal Al Amer.
The latest updates are also available in English for foreign investors, Al Amer added.
