Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday met American entrepreneur. Rony Abovitz, the founder of the augmented reality start-up Magic Leap, in Los Angeles.
During the meeting, Abovitz discussed with Prince Mohammed potential investment opportunities and partnerships in infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Ambassador to the US Prince Khalid bin Salman and the Crown Prince’s official delegation also attended the meeting.
Last March, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, Public Investment Fund (PIF) invested $400 million in US-based Magic Leap, joining a list of global shareholders into Magic Leap, including Google, Alibaba Group, Qualcomm Inc. and J.P. Morgan Investment Management, Argaam reported.
