9 things to consider as Tadawul starts trading

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) The Saudi market regulator, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) reported SAR 826.36 million in revenues, up by 13 percent year-on-year (YoY) in FY17, the CMA’s annual report showed.

 

2) Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors has recommended a 50 percent capital increase to SAR 1.2 billion from SAR 800 million, through the issue of one bonus share for every two shares held.

 

3) Mobile Telecommunications Co. Saudi Arabia’s (Zain Saudi) board of directors has appointed the company’s chief operating officer, Sultan Al Deghaither, as chief executive starting from July 1, 2018, the telco said in a statement on Tadawul.

 

4) The National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) on Apr. 12 completed the procedures required for transferring additional stakes at 10 percent each in Guardian Zoujaj International Float Glass (Guardian RAK) and Saudi Guardian International Float Glass Co. (GulfGuard).

 

5) National Medical Care Co. said that Riyadh Care Hospital has received on Sunday the JCI Accreditation Certificate, which works to improve patient safety and quality of health care in the international community.

 

6) Shareholders of Yanbu Cement Co. and Saudi Cement Co. approved on Sunday audit reports, financial statements and board reports for fiscal year 2017 as well as all other items on their meetings agenda.

 

7) The Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) has added the subscribed units in SEDCO Capital REIT Fund today, into the investors Center Accounts according to the allocated units for each subscriber.

 

8) The Securities Depository Center (Edaa) has started implementing the securities quantity increase for Al-Samaani Factory For Metal Industries Co., on the Center Accounts of eligible shareholders today.

 

9) Crude oil prices were down this morning. Brent crude was last 1 percent lower at $71.88/bbl, while WTI crude fell 0.8 percent to $66.84/bbl.
